Leveling with the Itch King’s Rash

Or: How to Get Your Hands on Elemental Gear Before Outland

Generally speaking, I’ve tried to keep from posting every time I’ve read something interesting about Rash of the Itch King. But I’ve been leveling a balance druid lately, and while looking into gear for him I realized something. Stats like spell and melee crit rating will be fused together in Wrath, and will apply to both spells and melee attacks. Which means that a lot of gear that was originally melee-centric will become pretty valuable for casters as well.

Of course, this realization means that I’m tempted to put my newly mounted, would-be moonkin on hold while dreaming of the amount of spell crit I could get with gloves and a mace.
